Fabulous Firebirds     In 1990 Larry Cooper retired from the United States Navy.  He came home (Fredericktown, Missouri) with a dream.  He wanted to start a hobby business which dealt with his love of the Pontiac Firebird.  He really liked the 70-73 models but he also liked the cars from 67-81.  He decided to specialize in these years thinking this would be enough to keep him busy.

Everyone told Larry that being 20 miles from the nearest town he would not be able to have a successful business.  No one would come.  Boy, were they wrong.  In 1991, we opened and Fabulous Firebirds was born.  We did not advertise through ordinary means.  We relied on word of mouth from one Pontiac enthusiast to another.  The Pontiac community is very small and soon we had more orders than we could handle.  We have over 300 Pontiac Firebirds and we send parts all over the world.

Frank's Pontiac Parts    We sell primarily used parts for  64-72 LeMans/Tempest/GTO and the 67-73 Firebirds.  Located in the County of San Diego, California.  We tend to stock the more commonly needed items like brackets, pulleys, fuel tanks, A-arms, switches, axle shafts and that sort of thing.  We do get in the rare parts and options on occasion, so it never hurts to ask

Classical Pontiac  Without a doubt, the BEST Pontiac related site on the web!!!!!! Rich, the webmaster should be commended for running a consistently outstanding page! Many knowledgeable hobbyists as well as professional racers, restorers and vendors frequent the Q&A section.  I found my GTO in the C.P. classifieds back in early '97! Simply AWESOME!

Jim is also more than willing to help out the neophyte Poncho fanatic with his combo! I swear, Jim has forgotten more about the Poncho engine in the past week than most of us will ever know!
