July 12-16, 2005 - Greenville, South Carolina
Pontiac Oakland Club International
33rd Annual Pontiac National Convention

The annual POCI Annual Convention was held in far western South Carolina.  The POCI drags took place across the state line in Georgia and fairly close to Atlanta.    This was the first time in many years that the convention was (almost) wholly in doors.   Only the swap meet was outside.    The convention center was so huge that the 400 Pontiacs on display fit quite comfortably.

Hurricane Chapter members drove 12 hours from Miami.   And then they drove 12 hours back.  All the way in 1960's vintage Pontiacs.  Not a single problem.    We figured that this was the closest the  POCI convention would come to South Florida in many years.   So we drove and we had a blast going through the back roads of South Carolina and Georgia.

There are 55 pictures below.   The Hurricane Chapter of POCI wishes you happy viewing!
