March Cruise-in
Gold Coast Railroad Museum
Miami, Florida
March 13, 2004

Last December, the club office of POCI's Hurricane Chapter received a phone call from the local railroad museum.  A railroad museum?  IN MIAMI??!!

Well yes, actually.  A very tastefully assembled museum adjacent to Metro Zoo on the southern outskirts of our tropical city.

"Would you like to have a cruise-in at our museum?  We'd like to raise a little awareness about our museum and have something extra to offer our visitors when they stop by to visit the trains"  "Sure" we said, not ever turning down a chance to show off our Pontiacs.

And so we trekked out last Saturday to the Gold Coast Railroad Museum.  About 20 Pontiacs in total.  The local Thunderbird/Mustang club helped us out as well with some fine looking "Blue Ovals."  The weather was fantastic and the heavy railroad iron went well with the heavy Pontiac iron that the Hurricane Chapter brought out.

Thanks for having us over Gold Coast Railroad Museum!

You too can take the family out there to walk through the real live (and HUGE) trains; visit their collector train display, and shop the gift shop.  Stop by and visit them:
